 Matt was a loving and dedicated father and grandfather who worked in the skilled trade industry as a journeyman plumber over 37 years, until his early and unexpected passing in 2021. In memory of Matt, and his hard work and dedication to his trade, his 4 daughters, along with the help of friends and family, have established a 501(c)(3) scholarship fund to support local students pursuing a career in a skilled trades field. Matt always stressed the importance of keeping the skilled trades going as these workers have critical roles in our society and our economy. The outing is a fun and memorable event that generates the funds that support the scholarships donated to graduating seniors every year.
